Dr. Faber WhiteNorth Park Director & Leadership Institute Faculty
Dr. White is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a twice-graduate of Baylor University (BS. Ed. in Health Sciences, MS. Ed. In Exercise Physiology) and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He trained in emergency medicine at the University of Rochester, and went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship in Rochester prior to joining LEMA in September 2005. He is board certified in emergency medicine, with subspecialty certification in sports medicine.
Dr. White has served on multiple committees in the Good Shepherd Health System, and currently serves on the Stroke Committee, the Peer Review Committee, the Radiology/Pathology/Emergency Medicine Executive Subcommittee (currently Alternate Chairman), and the Medical Staff Executive Committee. Prior to taking on the role of Medical Director at NorthPark, he served in the same capacity at GSMC Linden.
Since 2014, Dr. White has served on the Advisory Board of Pulsara (www.pulsara.com), a Bozeman, Montana based healthcare coordination company.
Dr. White volunteers at the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission free clinic on a regular basis, and since 2014 has served on the Board of the Mission, which seeks to provide for food, shelter, and other necessities for those in need around East Texas.
He is married with four children and a very excitable Vizla named Copper. Dr. White and his family are active in New Beginnings Church in Longview, and enjoy Razorback sports and outdoor activities.
