The city of Longview and surrounding areas boast 5 excellent public school districts, each only minutes from the Good Shepherd Longview campus. They include Spring Hill, a 3A district on the north west side of town, Pine Tree, a 4A district toward the west side of town, Longview, a 5A district centrally located, Hallsville, a 4A district just to the east of town, with parts of the district inside Longview's city limits, and White Oak, a 2A district just outside Longview city limits to the west. Each district offers excellent educational opportunities, and many LEMA physicians' children attend each of these districts. Excellent private schools are also available, and several LEMA physicians' children attend these schools as well. Christian Heritage School, Trinity School of Texas, and St. Mary's Catholic School are great alternatives to public school for children of Kindergarten age through High School. For children ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten, School for Little Children is a popular facility . There is a waiting list for this school, so be sure to inquire before March each year for fall enrollment. Members of our group live in each of these excellent school districts and are happy to share their information and experiences with you regarding these schools. Currently, all Longview public school districts offer the opportunity to pay for your children to attend school in a district outside your home's location, which allows even more flexibility in finding your perfect location!" Longview is a great place to live, regardless of the school district you choose.
